I went out into the shade under the apple tree to sit with Zelda, I am convinced she is waiting to die and preparing to die, she is out there by herself for much of the day.
I say goodbye to her every day, just in case. I’m off to Albany with two missions in mind:
One is to give Noorul Patek the laptop an angel named Kathleen bought for him, he was going to apply to a private school but changed his mind, he was afraid his English wasn’t good enough yet.
I am going to Kathy Sosa’s class to meet two young women from Thailand who want to go to Bishop Maginn High School in the fall. They are great students, but their families have no money. I’ll pick up their applications today, take photos of them, talk to them, and then bring the applications to the school.
I believe they will be accepted, and then we may have to raise some money to get them in in September. More to come.
Thanks for all of your support. The great thing about Maginn is that they need some money to function, but the children come first. I am hopeful.
I think Zelda is beautiful.
