This has been a wild week at Bedlam Farm. We celebrated our anniversary last week at the Brandon Inn in Vermont (the rumor is there are friendly ghosts there).
We share our week on our new podcast, Katz and Wulf On Bedlam Farm.
We have been spreading lime and manure on our pastures, they are tired and weary.
We talk about the importance of caring for our farm, and the hard work that entails.
Maria will make her first public performance with her Belly Dancing group this Saturday at the Farmer’s Market in Bennington, Vt. She is wearing make-up for the first time in her life.
On the podcast, Maria and I talk about how important the belly dancing experience has become in her life. Belly dancing is the main topic this week, but not the only one by far.
Our oldest sheep Zelda is failing, we are talking about what to do next.
Bud’s training is coming along well, Maria says he and I have bonded in a visible and deep way. It seems an awful lot happens on Bedlam Farm every week, and we look forward to talking to each other about it.
The podcast has racked up more than 5,000 downloads and plays so far, we are committed to it.
It seems that every week is quite full here, we never quite get to everything in the 25 minutes we allot to the podcast. The podcast helps us to put things in perspective, thanks for the very nice comments about it. We see it as a conversation between us that you are invited to hear.
So come along and listen. If you like it, feel free to say so on Itunes. Donations (below) are accepted, and thanks. The blog will always be free. Come and listen here.
As I’ve commented before, your podcasts stop and disappear every time my iPhone screen darkens (power saving). I have to restart them over and over until I get too frustrated. I listen to many other podcasts and have never had this problem before. Any ideas on how to correct this flaw? I hate to keep missing your podcasts! Thanks.
Hazel, I’m sorry I can’t provide tech support for you. No one has reported this problem, and I have never experienced it. I don’t know your phone or Internet service provider, it sounds much like a modem problem. But I am not a technical person, I would contact your service provider. I wish I could help you more, but you have a technical problem, I am not the person to help you.
