Today, we recorded our 17th podcast, and I’m happy to report that we’ve had more than 6,000 downloads and plays in just a few weeks. Abrah Griggs has designed this wonderful logo for us, and we find the podcast a natural and comfortable vehicle for us to share the story of our lives.

In this podcast, we talk about the critically important process of learning who we are, and who we wish to be. This has been one of the most critical, difficult and rewarding chapters in our lives.

We talk about the importance of encouragement, trust honesty and self-awareness, and courage. We both are coming to accept ourselves in a new and different way. We are learning to overcome the brokenness in us, our fractured egos and loneliness.

I’ve learned to never lie to myself again, or to other people. I’ve learned to accept who I am. Maria has done much of the same thing, in her own distinctive way.

It seems like a very joyous and important conversation to have, because for both of us, learning who we are has led us closer and closer to the lives that each of us wishes to have in our own way.
