New podcast: Our Life With Donkeys.
Lots of news over the weekend, I hope your holiday was restful and peaceful. Mine was. We didn’t go out much, Maria did some Herculean working re-imagining the Three Sisters garden into a vegetable (think veggie pizza) garden.
She spent much of the weekend digging and seeding and weeding. We made many trips to the hardware store. We skirted all of our wool, next week we take it to the knitting mill, Maria sells it as yarn.
Red went out among the sheep, Bud stood watch over his pal. He also ran off in pursuit of chipmunks, which he recently discovered living in a stone wall.
Maria finished stacking two cords of firewood, planted the Dahlia garden, weeded and planted the back porch garden, turned the back porch into a comfortable resting area for us.
We slept late, went out for breakfast Saturday and Sunday, read and tended to our blogs, videos and did a new podcast on Living With Donkeys. I listened to a new Lizzo album and got half way through Jonathan Lethem’s new novel, The Feral Detective. So far so good.
I also made an important decision for me, I turned over my Creative Group online to Becca Addy, a friend and writer, she will run it from here. Another ending, another beginning.
The New Bishop Maginn High School Wish List has only two items left, some clay and some inexpensive drawing paper. The art class will be busy for a while, and the school will get its new choir in September.
The new Amazon Mansion Wish List sold out right away. Thanks for your support. They will have another beautiful garden this year The holiday weather was beautiful, today it’s cold and rainy.
