This is my first infrared portrait with my specially outfitted $250 IR camera, a very old Canon Rebel XS. I was surprised by it, you can’t take good human IR portraits because the eyes turn out black and scary. With animals it’s different, they have a different light range than human eyes.

I think this portrait captured Flo in a particular way.
