I worry sometimes that beauty is the norm – my morning news – when I look anywhere on my farm, the big sky seems to hang over us, and the animals know us and adapt to us, there isn no drama or anxiety or trouble from them.

I don’t want beauty to be the norm, I always want to acknowledge it and see it as the miracle that it is. Photography has helped to do this for me.
