I’ve taken to calling our back porch the Bedlam Farm Animal Lounge. The barn cats have largely taken it over, but lately have been joined by Bud, who is in an amorous mood.

Just this morning, he tried to mount Suzy the sheep, Minnie the barn cat, and Red. None of it went too well for Bud, but he has a big ego, he just comes right back. I had a talk with him the other day, tried to explain some of the realities of life, since he was cooped up in that pen for so long.

Off to the Mansion for meditation class.
