Red goes for acupuncture treatment every two or three weeks in the hopes of keeping his fractured spine from further decaying or splintering. He tolerates the treatment well and I think it is helping to keep him steady.
Red is nearly blind now, and the damaged part of his spine can fracture at any time, but he is holding steady, although he is quieter and less mobile all the time. Red also has a weakening heart.
I’ll just take it one day at a time, and be grateful for every day. Dr. Fariello (Cassandra Comety is helping) thinks Red is holding steady, I think I see a slow but steady decline. I suspect both things areĀ true.
Stay tuned.
Red is such a lovely, brave, loyal creature. Jon, you truly ‘lucked out’ with Red. He is an amazing dog. I’m sure his accupuncture treatments are helping to keep his life as free of pain as possible which is all you can pretty much do for him at this point. He is so remarkable standing so patiently for his treatment. He looks as if he’s enjoying it. Red has been (and still is) a great companion to you over the years and I am sure you will miss him terribly when the time comes.
magnificent issues altogether, you just gained a logo new reader.
What could you recommend about your put up that you simply made a few days ago?
Any positive?
