The Story Of Red, A Sweet Night

Red and I kicked off the Acting 101 Showcase performance at the Oldcastle Theater in Bennington, Vt. last night. It was a sweet night, the students in the class performed skits, scenes and monologues for an audience of 60 to 75 people.

I told the story of Red, and it felt good and strong to me. Red lay on a special red carpet Christine Decker laid out for  him. It was a very sweet night, I loved the energy and bravery and humor and imagination the other students showed.

It’s late and I’m tired I’ll write more about it in the morning. I thought it was just right a very warm and uplifting evening, I’d love to take the class again in the summer if Christine will have me. Plus I need to think about it a bit.

  1. Jon, I’m happy that your revelation to talk about Red came to you. Going with your natural instincts was great for you and I’m also glad it went well and that you feel good.
Red looks absolutely regal on his beautiful red carpet!
