There are nice snow storms and mean snow storms. The mean ones go on for a day or so, bring ice and freezing rain and high winds with drifts. Last night, we got a nice one, about four inches, beautiful, powdery easy-to-shovel snow, a brilliant clear sky as the storm passes.
We got out and shoved the walks, fed the animals, cleaned up the cars.Vince, our faithful plow person, came early to plow out the driveway so we can get out easily. Maria and I have this drill down, we each take a different snow shore and get it done.
This is the beauty of winter, this kind of storm, I breathed deeply of the clean fresh air, and thanked the fates for my life.
