Tomorrow, I kick off a series of programs on my weekly radio show “Talking To Animals” focused on Dog Consciousness. Do Dogs Dream? Do They Have Emotions And Consciousness? Maria will come on in the second hour to talk about animals dreams – she has researched it – she is our new roving correspondent. She and I have some different views about this. It will be fun and hopefully, revealing.
I will also, of course, answer any questions phoned in about anything relating to dogs or cats – 802 442 – 1010 or 866-406- 9286.or e-mailed to me at [email protected], tonight, tomorrow or during the show.
I apologize for the technical troubles last week which prevented some- almost all – callers from getting through. They are fixed. Two hours of talking to myself (I had some fine talks with Thomas at the opening) left me hoarse and discouraged.
I absolutely hate the idea of talking to myself for two hours, it is a complete perversion of the whole idea of the program, which is an intelligent and thoughtful dialogue with dog and animal lovers.
So tune in tomorrow, February 20, from one to three.
There are lots of ways for you to access the show. You can live stream it here, or get a free radio app like Simple Radio. You can hear a podcast of the program by going to WBTNAM.US. And the show is repeated on the station every Wednesday evening from 8 to 10 p.m.
Feel free to e-mail me your questions at any time, I’ll read them on the air.
My sense of the program is that a lot of people are listening, if I can credit all of the e-mail. The show weems to be catching on, the questions and problems have been amazing and very informative. The challenge is to get the phones straightened out and encourage people to call and talk about their concerns, issues and ideas involving dogs.
This is community radio, non-profit all around, nobody is making any money here. The idea is to create a meaningful and thoughtful broadcast about animals, by my reckoning, the only one in the country, not a gas-a-thon from me.
You can also support this community radio station by purchasing an Amazon gift card on the WBTN Amazon Wish List.
One way or another, I hope to hear from some of you tomorrow. And thanks.
