In honor of the hard work donkeys have done for and with human beings for thousands of years, I’m putting this photo of Lulu, one of our donkeys, walking in a snowstorm, it is for sale.

To me, it shows both the acceptance and endurance of these quite remarkable animals, who endure hardship after hardship and are so often poorly treated by human  beings.

I know of no animals more intelligent, independent and accepting.

The photo, called “Donkey Walk” will be sold on Maria’s Etsy Shop. If anyone prefers paying the traditional way, they can contact her at [email protected]. The photo costs $125 plus six dollars shopping.

The image will be 8.5 by 12.5 inches,  printed on the highest quality archival paper,  signed and unframed. The printer, the Image Loft, is considered one of the best and most careful printers in the Northeast.
