Discernment Exercise.
One. Walk on the earth, down a dirt road, near a stream.
Two. Walk with friends through the woods. Find a path. Set out in search of beauty. Walk in silence. Drink deeply from the well of creation.
Three. Listen to heaven and nature sing. Read Isaiah 55:12: “For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.”
Could you clap with them?
Bow to the sun and the stars, they are your brothers and sisters.
