WBTN has added a new and exotic addition to their new WBTN Amazon Wish List, an $89 weather station, something they could really use, since they do the weather hourly and with great gusto.

People who wish to contribute can do so in two ways – by buying the weather station outright (it seems kind of cool to buy a weather station, I’m mulling it) or buy purchasing the Amazon Gift cards listed on the wish list – $10, $25, or $50.

The wireless radio station is surprisingly compact and efficient, “Hank” the mysterious WBTN weatherperson, has a distinctive style. I’ve never seen him or met him, but his voice and style are unique. He barks the weather out like a marine commander summoning his troops. A wake-up call in and of itself.

There is also some clerical whiteout for $7 on the list, for those less adventurous or with smaller bank accounts.

Thanks for supporting WBTN, it is a non-profit community radio station, we need these kinds of voices more than ever as the Corporate Nation engulfs us all.
