Good and happy news.
This is, as you know, Mansion Aides Recognition month. The Army Of Good raised $650 to give each Mansion aide a $50 gift certificate for Christmas, we’ve also been bringing boxes of holiday cookies once a week.
Today, I brought a bag of buttons from the Battenkill Bookshoop, each one has a different slogan or witty saying. The aides love the buttons, they attach them to their ID badges. Brittany and Tiffany were on duty this morning, they got their first. They were excited.
I think I’m incorporating buttons regularly into our program.
They really love them. Thanks so much for supporting the effort to give these wonderful people some recognition. They do the work that no one else wants to do, and they do it with love and great care.
The Mansion is a Medicaid facility, and some of the residents have little money in their accounts. I am always asking the aides to tell me if somebody needs something rather than spend their own money, which they are quick to do.
It is such a pleasure to recognize the Mansion aides, they make the Mansion special. Cookies next week, and maybe I can think of some other small things to get them.
They loved the two boxes of cookies I brought as well.
More cookies next week.

I’d like to get each of the 13 aides a beaded bracelet – they are fond of them, they are inexpensive, I think I could do it for under $100, as a stocking stuffer.
