I just got a look at the new Homeless Animals Calendar for 2019, someone from FOHA (Friends Of Homeless Animals) sent it to me because a photograph of Bud is the cover centerpiece.

Carol Johnson took this photograph of Bud with a snappy bandana, flanked by some of the dogs FOHA has saved and  put up for adoption.

Bud was a great gift to me and I was happy to purchase one of these calendars for $25. You can buy one here.

I can tell you that FOHA is the real deal, they rescue animals everyone else has left  behind or turned away from, it took them about four months to nurse Bud back to health and ship him up to me.

Since then, we’ve (the people on the blog) have adopted five of these once  unadoptable, left-for-dead dogs. I’ll take another photo when the calendar arrives, take a look for yourself. If you love dogs, this is money well spent.

This one is going on my desk, it might help me remember appointments.

But looks good up there, no wonder he has such a big ego. He was once a bit cowed, not any more.
