Maria was very excited to discover a baby snail climbing up the side of our fish tank. You can read her analysis of how this happened here.
She is very excited about this snail, he is, at the moment 1/16th of an inch long. I can barely see him, I had to use my macro lens to capture an image of him at all.
Oddly enough, snails have become important to us. We have learned a lot about them, they are helping to keep their tank clean.
This new snail is adventurous, he up and down the sides of the tank all day. Maria is studying him closely. We hope there aren’t 45 or 50 more baby snails, Maria can explain.
