I am touched and awestruck by the volume of wonderful work coming out of artist Rachel Barlow. Last week her, oldest son had major surgery. On the way home from the hospital, she hit a deer.
Rachel, who is bi-polar and suffers from clinical depression, is a brilliant writer and artist, she has been in my Writing Workshop for nearly six years and had produced an astonishing amount of wonderful work.
She is also a member of the Creative Group At Bedlam Farm.
Things are tense out there in the universe, if you want to lift your spirits, go check out one (or more) or Rachel’s new and touching and expressive oil works on her very wonderful blog, Picking My Battles.
You can see her work here. I am in awe of her, she just gets better every day.
just read some of her blog posts and looked at her paintings – wow! thanks for the heads up!
She’s great and her paintings are ridiculously inexpensive..
i tried to find the paintings but maybe they’re not ready yet…still drying…but i will check again — she is great and so are you 🙂
I’m looking at them right now, Brenda, if you need assistance you can e-mail rachel she’s [email protected] or [email protected]
