It didn’t take long, Bud – I now call him “Mr. Snuggly” – has made his way into bed at night. He is a snuggler, he burrows slowly up between us at night and when I wake up in the morning, he is wedged right between us, waiting patiently for one of us to greet him.

His snoring is impressive, he sounds like a tractor trailer idling in a restaurant parking lot.

He is an affectionate creature, he needs and loves attention, but also loves his own space. I like that. I thought he would be in the crate for months, but it never takes the dogs long to figure out how to be warm and cozy on a rainy and windy night.

This is what I saw at first light this morning. Glad my Iphone was handy.
