Julie at the Mansion just put up a small, modest and inexpensive wish list. Half of the items are bins and storage boxes to house the gifts and prizes and DVD’s you are sending them. The Activity Room is covered in boxes.
They also need some plastic cups and garden stakes for the flowers you have sent them.
You are very generous souls, you have changed life at the Mansion more than you know. This week, I’m ordering sweatpants, tote bags, nightshirts for those who need them. The most expensive item is a $24 greeting card organizer, the cheapest is a $14.05 plastic greeting card organizer, so they an store your cards and return your letters.
I believe our philosophy is the right one. One person at time, small things that matter, small acts of great kindness. It doesn’t always take thousands of dollars to change a life.
As always the Mansion requests are simple and modest. I can’t wait to get over there and whittle the little down to three or four items. I will wait a bit to be fair, some people get upset if they find an empty list. That is a good place to be. You can see the Mansion Amazon Wist List here. And thank you.
