I brought Ed Gulley some canvases and paint, he wasn’t crazy about the paint, he decided to sketch. We are now bringing him some sketchpads and Carol got him some colored pencils yesterday. He started drawing a pig in the barn, and then stopped to rest. This is his first  sketch.

I can see the artistry in Ed already, he is an artist as well as a dairy farmer. His creativity has connected  us to Ed as well as his big heart and larger than life presence. I am happy to be the man he calls his best friend.
