Robin Gibbons, Gus’s breeder sent me this update this morning, she said Hannah is “tired and loving” these days, two signs of a possible pregnancy. She was “tied up” with Know, Gus’s father two weeks ago, and it went well. Next Wednesday, Robin and I will meet at the vet to see the ultra sound results and learn if the mating took and Hannah is going to have puppies.
If so, we will get on of them, and our new dog should be born in mid-July. Most breeders keep puppies for eight weeks, so that means a puppy would come to us in mid-September, a few weeks before our Columbus Day Weekend Open House.
Fingers crossed. Hannah and Know are two sweet, healthy and grounded dogs. We are excited.
