I bought this Tin Man from sculptor and farmer and very successful blogger Ed Gulley (he is the original brother from another mother), a many of many parts, most of them sore in the cold.
The Tin Man is the symbol of Bedlam Farm, people often stop me in town and ask me if I live in the house with the Tin Man, I am proud to say yes, I bought it from Ed and pay him $50 a month, and usually I have to pay for dinner too.
Farmers have it worse than writers, I’ve never met a small dairy farmer with two extra nickels. I am fond of the Tin Man and he is a good if forbidding barometer of the blizzard that descended on us and covered the farm with snow. The weather channels say up to 20 feet. That would be interesting.
I can’t use pneumonia as an excuse to let Maria do all the shoveling, I’ll have to get out there and get to work early. The pictures shoudl be cool. Thanks again for the Tin Man, like Ed, he is indestructible and made of many parts.
I would suggest pneumonia is not an excuse, it is an illness. It can get better with care or worse with inattention or bad judgement. Pneumonia worsening could become a terrific burden to the entire household.
I’m doing well…shoveling happily away…
Wonderful !
