Maria’s birthday was today, (she is 54) and her present was a trip to Salem, Mass, this weekend to the Peabody-Essex Museum see the quite wonderful Georgia O’Keefe exhibit, “Art, Image, Style.” Maria will write about it herself, but we both just loved it, it was brilliantly conceived and the art and personal effects of O’Keefe were stunning.

We spent a very happy two hours there, had the best lobster rolls I have ever had, and then headed home this afternoon. Everyone on the farm was fat and happy, thanks Nicole.

I also bought Maria a new and very colorful Slouch Beanie and got this photo of her looking across the gallery of a photo fo O”Keefe in one of the dresses she helped design. We had a great time.
