I was struck by this photo fo George O’Keefe in one of the dresses she helped design, she brought her art and style to everything in her life. O’Keefe and her husband, the photographer Alfred Steiglitz believed that art and creativity were a religion, and in a sense, Maria and I believe that also.
It is at the very core of what we share.
We came home from the Peabody-Essex Museum in Salem, Mass., with a book on O’Keefe’s style, and we will spend a lot of time reading it over the coming months.
Tomorrow, I go the eye surgeon for some tests and I may or may not have surgery tomorrow. Either way, I will share the news.
Good to be home. I was touched once again by the story of the Salem Witches, something to think about.
On best of luck. I’m holding both of you in my heart.
