We are making progress in the New Mexico Kitchen Project, adding some new and rich colors to our kitchen, last painted around the end of World War II. The cabinets will stay white – they are funky and have character – the walls will be yellow and grim, the window sashes will have a bright red trim.
Today was phase four, second coats for the first wall and the other side of the kitchen, above the sink.
The painting job was inspired by our recent trip to New Mexico and Maria has been working all weekend on the paint job, she doesn’t love doing it, but she is good at it. It will be done in a day or so, photos to follow.
I like it… I wasn’t sure at first.. but it is coming together nicely! Good work Maria
