Gus loves everything around here, people and animal, but he and Maria have forged a very special bond, the kind that dogs and their people can sometimes make together. It is quite beautiful a thing to see, I have it with Red. Maria is always smiling around Gus, and that is one of the great gifts of some animals to people.

I am so happy to see this, it brightens our lives many times a day.

I love Gus myself, but Boston Terrier’s, like German Shepherds, are usually one person dogs, they love everybody but really attach to one person. They are both lucky, I think, and I am lucky to see it throughout my day. Maria loves Fate and Red dearly, but I have never seen her attach to an animal in quite this way.
