I took the three amigos on a walk together up a nearby road, it went well, a truck with a car full of dogs came by and Gus freaked a bit and started to run away.  He came right back when I called him. I realized he has had little exposure to traffic, something I need to remedy.  The truck was not close to us.

I keep the leash handy, and can get it on him quickly, a good lesson in caution.

Otherwise, we had a great time. He is still trying to figure out how to run with the border collies,I don’t know if that will ever work, but he is getting bigger and stronger, and he is quite fast. Gus walks very well, on a leash now, and off. He stays with the dogs, and then always circles back to me, or to Maria if she’s there.

The three have become a pack, a unit, they compliment one another in many ways.
