There were torrential downpours yesterday, at least four inches of rain, and this morning, when we went outside, there was this stranger in the garden, a new flower, filled with pink and buds. Maria had no idea what it was, and neither of us recalled every seeing it before. Perhaps it’s a secret flower in a secret garden, appearing only when there is a torrential downpour. I am certain someone out there will know what it is, and yes, I am asking for advice. (And what a difference there is between wanted and unwanted advice.)
