I think Fate may have met her match in Gus, he is the size of a small rabbit, but he seems to think he is a wolf. After a week or so of being tormented by Fate, who has stolen his toys and growled at him repeatedly, Gus is emerging as a wily tormentor on his own.
He cleverly uses Red, me, sofas and chairs as shields and hiding places, from which he rushes out and seizes Fate’s toys, and then dares her to come and get them. I never thought I would be on those crazy dog lovers taking photos of their puppies and putting them up on You Tube.
But of course I am, and Maria beat me to it by a few minutes. It is nearly addictive to watch Gus, a major personality, come into his own, a bit more each day. He adores Red and shamelessly hides behind him. Red does not move a muscle, he seems not to notice the mayhem developing around him.
Come and see, Gus is going to be a lot of fun, and I think Fate will come to love having around, if she can’t figure out how to get rid of him. Two very dominant personalities under the same roof. Yesterday’s video got more than 2,000 views on You Tube in very few minutes. Wow.
