This pinhole photograph captured the feeling of this intense storm, heavy winds, flying snow, animals clustered in shelter. The Pole Barn is deep enough to protect the animals from the wind, but they always stick their heads out, they like to see what is happening. They will be dry and warm – think of the wild on a night like this – but it will be a long night for all of us.  The dogs have it the best. Even easier on me and Maria, we will be shoveling all morning.
