This is another in my Maria At The Dump photographs, the scene was both lonely and beautiful to me. The town dump (recycling station) was empty yesterday, it was a bitter cold and windswept day, nobody was venturing out who didn’t have to go. Even the crew was holed up in their office, it was hard to be out for more than a few seconds.
Maria is scrupulous recycler she makes sure to put every bit of plastic and metal in the right bin, there are many choices. I am often confused by it. I loved the scene, it seemed to speak about modern life. A still life of our life.
