Our raging stream has receded a bit, the Ed Gulley Memorial Bridge is beginning to come out from under the water, but the bitter cold and high wind has left ice all over the bridge. Winter seems to be getting a last bite at us. It has been brutal the past couple of days.
I miss crossing over to my little waterfall, but this will only make me miss it the more.
His Royal Farm Prince Ed Gulley will appear on some warm and dry day in the near future and we will see what, if any repairs, have to be made. I have to hand it to Ed, the bridge has withstood quite a beating and is still, I think, passable, if a bit wobbly. We always appreciate what we can’t have all the more.
