We did a photo shoot this morning, Simon and Schuster wants a new author’s photo for my next book, “Talking To Animals,” out in May. (You can pre-order the book from Battenkilll books, you’ll get a free tote-bag and I will sign and personalize it.) We sent four different photos, one or two me kissing Chloe, but for an author’s portrait I like this one.  The barn suggests a farm,and it is a portrait. Another choice is below.

Simon and Schuster might or might not like it and if they want more, we’ll take some more. I thought about being in the barn or sitting with Red, but an author’s photo is really supposed to be a portrait I think. I’ll keep you posted. Let me know what you think.
