We were in Mary’s room when we heard a voice out in the hallway. “Red is here,” someone shouted. “Hey Red,” we heard Peggy yell and Red looked at me, and I released him and he shot out of the room and down the long hallway and right to Peggy and a friend. It was a joyous reunion, Red has many friends at the Mansion, and it is a joy to see them together. He loves to love people, and he loves to be loved. The Mansion is a good place for him.

The residents ask him how he is, how are the sheep, they ask him if he is being fed enough, if he is working too hard, if he is bothered by the cold. They have their own conversations, I am happy to sit back and listen and watch. And take photos.
