Another arctic morning, our hardy pony doesn’t seem to mind, she was waiting at the gate as usual, stomping her feet, demanding some food and attention. We leave the stalls open on bitterly cold nights, but none of the animals want to be inside, they love being out, in all weather but icy rain. I nearly got a frosty nose as well.
Today, blogging, doing some new audio, working on my book, might try and persuade Maria to stop work early so we can go see an early evening showing of “Manchester By The Sea,” which I hear is quite wonderful.
Last night, I went by myself to see Rogue One, it was fine and well done, not a great movie but a very entertaining and distracting one. Too many explosions to begin to count, a strong female heroine, lots of Death Star mumbo-jumbo. I know that plot doesn’t matter anymore, which is a good thing for this movie. I would see it again, the little boy in me loves explosions. The story is very much through the Disney prism, but there is some more realism than usual.
