The Winter Pasture emerged this morning, it’s going to snow for the next day or two, somewhere between five and 10 inches. We got up early, fed the animals, shoveled off the cards, ran the dogs. The Winter Pasture is my annual creative challenge for the winter, I thought of it when I realized I had to see the world differently in order to take good photos in the winter, in the absence of color and light, my two elements.  I’ll be looking for photos today that capture the special and simple beauty of the winter.
