Mary wasn’t seated in her usual chair on Sunday, I asked if she was all right, and she said no, not entirely. Maria is quiet and shy and doesn’t often say much, but she adores Red and his visits. She said she has had bronchitis for several weeks now and is on antibiotics but is hoping to get better.
She is tired, she said, and needs rest. She spent 15 minutes with Red and she brightened up quite a bit. We will see Mary again in a few days, I will think of something to bring her.
