When I first met Dominick, he rarely spoke, and when he did, he mostly grunted. He has changed a great deal, he is a good candidate for portraits, he is open and talkative and sometimes even looks into the lens. He is turning into a fine chef in the Round House kitchen and figuring out the rest of his life, he is almost always listening to music, and his smile is beginning to emerge. I imagine Dominick will be whatever he wants to be, in the meantime, he is a first-class sandwich and pizza maker.

I greatly appreciate having the opportunity to do this portrait work, I find it either connects me to people or causes them to flee from me. I’m grateful to Dominick for staying with it.
