At the dump, our friend Bob showed me a framed print, a still life of some grapes and fruit. It was soft, the grapes painted in purple and green, he asked if we wanted it, something about it grabbed me and I showed it to Maria, and she also wanted to rescue it from the dump.
So we brought it back to the farmhouse, and I thought it belonged in the barn, so we parked it on a hay bale while we did the chores and then hung it on the wall, it is just perfect there, it looks like it grew out of the wall. It is the first rescue art from the dump, and the first art we have ever hung on the barn wall.
When the sun is out, I’ll try and take a color photo of it. Happy to have it.
