Welcome to the weekend. Here it is chilly, clear and beautiful, blue skies, bright sun. We are eating hay here at Bedlam Farm. Today, I go to Pompanuck Farm to teach my writing class (first, to the Round House Cafe, to pick up coffee), then to the dump to get rid of all the Open House garbage, then I will listen to some Bob Dylan music in honor of his Nobel Prize, then take some photos, then read the new Carl Hiassen mystery and also a memoir about publishing called Avid Reader.
Tomorrow morning, a walk in the woods with Maria and our friend Cathy Stewart, then we will go to Brattleboro, Vt. for one night, go to a movie, eat some Korean food, come back Monday morning. We are tired, sick of politics and argument, we need to look at something different for a few hours.
Next week, I begin work on my 20th hardcover book, “Lessons From Bedlam Farm.” There are many. More later, I feel there are some good photos out there to take today.
