The strong hurricane heading for the Florida Coast will veer off into the sea and spare the Northeast United States, I saw selfishly this morning. It will not affect our Open House.  Then I thought about all of the people who be affected, damaged, or otherwise harmed and my pleasure was short-lived.

I wish them all well, Open Houses are not as important. Still, I am grateful ours will go forward, it has a special feel to it. This morning, thick fog all around the farmhouse, I ran out naked with my infrared camera to see the light that could be seen. It felt spooky and beautiful out there.
