Fate is out of surgery, Cassandra is taking good care of her, we can pick her up in a couple of hours. They want her in a cone for awhile and they want her bandage on for at least 48 hours. Nobody there lives with a border collie, but we will try. I hate cones, we’ll see what happens. She’ll have fun with that bandage.

We’re not precisely sure what is wrong with her foot, the vet says there is a callous and some inflammation, we’ll have to monitor her for a bit, no sign of infection, no obvious foreign object. We’ll be glad to pick her up, she was a sweetie all throughout, kissing everybody, wagging her tail.
