Giselle’s wool is thick and mysterious, I don’t think I’ve seen wool like it. She is one of our four new Romney ewes, they all have surprisingly beautiful wool, at least two seem not to have been shorn for a long time. Our shearer is coming to Bedlam Farm during the Open House in October, we will see exactly what shape this wool and these sheep are in.

The Romneys are regal, imperious, apart. I see why their wool is much prized, we are eager to see the wool shorn and to see the sheep shorn, Griselle needs it pretty badly.
