You don’t meet too many sheep who will walk up to you look  you straight in the eye while you point a camera at them and dare you to take the shot. Another strong women. Griselle is a monarch, in many ways, she looks shocked when the dogs try to move her around, and peers imperiously at the other animals.

When I come into the pasture, she walks right up to me and seems to be asking what I am doing there. I am astonished at the beauty of her wool, we got lucky getting these sheep. I have not seen too many sheep – with the exception of Zelda – who have this much personality.

She will be shorn at the October Open House (Columbus Day Weekend) , and I imagine a lot of people will be happy with their yarn. I get a kick out of Griselle and the Gang Of Four, and the camera is appreciative.
