Every time I see some curtains blowing in a summer breeze, I think of Ed Hopper and his brilliant ability to capture feeling and emotion, and an idealized version of American life. I saw our own curtains blowing in a strong wind this morning and was touched by the feeling of timelessness and the soft and gentle caresses of a summer breeze.
