My friend Deborah Glessner, a photographer and member of the Creative Group At Bedlam Farm, inspires me to try new and different things with my photography. She has been taking some beautiful black and white photos of flowers, and so I went out with my monochrome to try it. I settled on these pansies, lined up in a row. The challenge, of course, is to capture the idea of color without color, and that is a creative thing to try. I’ll keep working on flowers in black-and-white and see what I can do.
