I fiddled with this photo a bit in Aperture, my post-processing system, it was solarized but still true to the dark and broody tone of the original picture. Monochrome photography gives me a chance to explore contrasts and this is about the apple tree against the morning sky. Seemed both emotional and intriguing to me.
