It always amazes me to see this big animal standing so still for a brushing. Equines love to be tended to, ponies and donkeys. They could easily walk away or run away, but they don’t, Chloe practically purrs. She was dirty today, rolling around in the mud and walking out in the marsh grass to forage, things are beginning to bud and grow in this strange season. Grooming is one of the ways we talk to animals, one of the ways they talk to us.
