It’s cold now, and the barn cats have come in out of the ice and wind. Fate is unnerved by their presence, and is unsure whether to herd them or chase them. She is terrified of Flo, who glowers at her and hisses and sends her scurrying. She and Minnie have become great pals and they sometimes even sleep next to one another. Fate has taken to staring at Flo, trying to get her to move. I think Flo will win this encounter.
